Fall flavors have arrived!
At Clumpies Ice Cream Co., we value community and love getting the opportunity to work with other local businesses in Chattanooga. Our favorite way to accomplish this is by incorporating local collaborations into our seasonal menus which rotate throughout the year in line with the season. This year, our Fall menu is chock-full of local collaborations!
A new flavor to this year’s Fall lineup – Coffee Brownie Stracciatella – uses organic Mexican coffee beans from Mayfly Coffee to infuse our ice cream with a deep coffee flavor. Then we add gluten-free brownies, which are delightfully decadent and fudgy, as well as chocolate stracciatella (fine chocolate flakes).
A returning flavor that’s been refined – London Fog – combines floral earl grey tea ice cream, courtesy of High Garden Tea, and pillowy honey meringue pieces, sweetened by the busy bees at Harrison Bay Honey Farm.
These flavors are a part of the unofficial “Fall Drink Series” portion of our Fall seasonal menu, where you can find two more coffee inspired flavors in collaboration with two more local roasters – Coffee Cake with Honduran beans from New Wave Coffee and Spiced Brown Sugar Banana Latte with beans from Mean Mug Coffeehouse.
A favorite among our team – Oatmeal Apple Butter – returns this year with house-made apple butter. We always source apples locally for our apple butter, and this year we’ve collaborated with Oren Wooden’s Apple House. They’re also featuring our ice cream at their farm throughout the season, so make sure to pay them a visit!
